So I recently had a system "upgrade" from two multi-zone outdoor units with 6 indoor units to 7 one to one units (long story, I will probably post about it at some point, though I'm not sure if this is the right forum for it.)
In the Kumo Cloud app it was initially configured in July 2020 as all individual units, until I was admittedly monkeying around and accidentally put one unit in a "changeover group" which lead me to put all of them split into two groups, the "upstairs" units and the "downstairs" units. The two outdoor units were split between the first and second floors initially.
Once the "upgrade" happened and I got the 7th head I put that into the downstairs group because it is downstairs.
Until recently this wasn't a big deal, but I think the changeover groups might be messing with things. I the last couple days while running the AC's it has been cooler at night so I will shut off the majority of them, and run only my bedroom and possibly my kids bedrooms. Yesterday with my kids units on fan only, and ours running all night, multiple times our system went into "Standby" where the fan dropped very low. When checking the app the whole upstairs group is listed as "standby" and tapping any of them gives a message saying something to the effect of "this unit is in heating mode at this time. In 30 minute to 2 hours you will be able to use it"
Last night was the first time I had tried to change anything when it was in standby, but there have been a couple times where one will be on fan and the other running AC and all of them will switch to "standby"
Now the real crux of the question is does anyone know of how in the app to just get rid of changeover groups? I had the integration system removed so it's not connected to my boiler anymore (not that it was ever connected in the first place) so there is no outdoor temperature reading or any connection to worry about.
I see in the app I can set each one to its own changeover group, but then changing the temperatures of any of them would be a hassle: Tap to get into the group>tap the head>set settings>tap zones>tap back... rinse and repeat for each head.
I know I could change things in the group tab and will do that for now, but it's still a hassle.
