Are Amana Furnaces cheaply made? We are looking at Trane, Carrier, and Amana. The Trane is sold by an established HVAC in our small town, the Amana is from a guy established in a near town and expanding to ours. Carrier is a bit away but the dealer is certified by Carrier. All furnaces are similar and high to low is as expected, Carrier, Trane, then Amana. I read that the sheet metal is thin and doesn’t hold up well with Amana. Thanks.
