Dual fuel propane/heat pump furnace?

I have been told the new high efficiency mini split heat pumps can be cheaper to heat with compared to propane here in zone 5 rural Iowa.. This would depend on the price per gallon of propane vs kWh and outside air temperature. But instead of trying to predict which energy will be cheaper, does anyone manufacture a duel fuel furnace that I can choose which fuel source I use? I wouldn't mind having two thermostats, but I have yet to see a heat pump indoor coil designed for a upflow gas furnace. It's common to find heat pump furnaces using resistance heating elements, but never propane as the secondary source..
