Carrier Infinity Error Code 86 has two meanings: Which one is correct?

My 5 ton Greenspeed is sending me email alerts about once or twice a day around 8 PM and 11 Pm saying: Code 86-Compressor Temp Sensor Fault. That is also displayed on the color control panel but for only about 15 minutes. Again, only about twice around 8 PM and 11 PM (2 hour windows max). But the manual says an Error 86 is a "Fan Inverter Current Lockout". Table 6 lists the possible causes as:

Sudden Supply Voltage Change
Restriction on fan rotation/motor
Intermittent harness plug connection\Fan blade bent/out of balance
Inverter damage

My first question due to this conflicting info is what does Code 86 really mean?

If it is the Fan Inverter Current Lockout it does not seem that any of the possible causes Carrier lists could be limited to only occur at these specific times (about 8 and 11 PM) except a voltage (surge or dropout) change caused by the power company. And if it is really a Temp Sensor Fault how could it only occur at these times?

Can anyone help? Thanks.
