Hi! We’ve been in our home for 2 and a half years, and it’s new construction. Many homes in our neighborhood have had HVAC leaks, and last night we discovered we did as well. Some other homeowners have had professionals out, and they’ve been told it seems like this is a faulty installation because we shouldn’t be seeing these issues now. We have the company who installed it coming tomorrow to look at it, and I’m trying to quickly educate myself on this and see if there’s any way of proving a leak comes from faulty installation. I would really appreciate any advice on this. Thanks!
