I'm going to offer to my neighbor that we split the cost of having their old Bard wall hung package unit replaced. The unit is hung 10 feet in the air, adjacent to my pool, and the noise is really irritating, not to mention it literally runs 24x7 never cycling off. If I had to guess it's 20-30 years old if not much older(1960's houses).
I'm curious if anyone has any real world experience with the sound difference between an ancient unit and a 2021 model? Any other suggestions would be appreciated! This is important to me, so nothing is off the table. Thx
