Zoned System Question

I am finishing my basement and recently had a zoned system installed to separate the basement from the rest of the house. The basement is typically much cooler than the upstairs. I generally like the temp set at 70 degrees. With spring bringing warmer temps I see the possibility of needing cooling on the main floor but heat in the basement to keep the 70 degrees. Can you set 1 stat to heat and 1 to cool? How would that work?
