Would changing to a less restrictive filter on a heat pump reduce temps at register?

Sorry for all the questions but always appreciate your input.

Carrier heat pump....

Recently change the filters (have 2 intakes) to very unrestrictive fiberglass ones. Since then I've noticed that the temp at the register (using an accurate probe thermometer) has dropped from 83F to 77F (measurements taken with the same outdoor (40F) and indoor (62F) temps).

Back up electric heat is not enabled.

Could a less restrictive air filter cause this?
