I'm looking at having my HVAC system replaced with a Lennox. I found out about the evaporator coil issues of years past, due to their copper-aluminum coils vs full aluminum in the rest of the industry.
My proposal lists the CHX35 - 3 ton (may have been a misspelling since it's a vertical install and prob. should be CX35 instead). Anyone have experience and knowledge of the current state of Lennox (/ADP) coils?
also read an interesting article, but since it's my first post I'm not allowed to paste it here. It was called "Coil conundrum: Faulty Lennox AC units anger homeowners" in the Orange Observer, if you are insterested to Google it.
Thanks,
Max
