Excessive heating of the wiring occurs, its insulation is damaged, the contacts are strongly oxidized.

For these reasons, thermal protection can be triggered, and due to leaks through damaged insulation, there is a high probability of an increase in current strength with a subsequent shutdown of the automatic protection against a short circuit. An external examination does not reveal these reasons, but a good electrician will easily detect and eliminate them.

Also, a good air conditioner is equipped with all kinds of automatic protection against influences that can lead to a breakdown, in addition, an automatic shutdown can indicate such serious problems as the loss of a critical volume of refrigerate or the lack of normal compressor lubrication. Therefore, if an air conditioner turns off too often, you should invite a technician to find out and fix a problem.
