Hello,
I hope this question is allowed here. I'll understand if not.
I recently bought a home with an electric stove and electric water heater. The only part of the house that uses gas is the dual fuel HVAC system.
In the Atlanta area, where I live, there is a monthly base fee of $30 to have gas service. So I've wondered if I could just cancel the gas service and rely on the electric heat.
Is that even possible? What are the downsides?
Thanks so much for any help.
