I have a Carrier Infinity dual fuel (electric/propane) heat pump (2 stage) system with an Infinity Touch thermostat and 3 zones. I'm being switched (unfortunately) to a different electricity rate plan and need to revisit my heat settings.
I know Smart Recovery spans 90 minutes and the system will switch to auxiliary heat if it can't keep up. I'm trying to remember what the maximum setback temperature is that I can set without automatically making the system switch to auxiliary heat during ramp-up. I've been using 4 degrees between the previous setpoint and the next setpoint.
Thanks
