Carrier 58CTX135-22 banging when switching from low to high heat?

I have a Carrier 58CTX135 mounted in a downflow configuration running on natural gas. Occasionally, we hear a soft or loud "bang" sound when the furnace has already been operating for some time (not at initial start). From watching it run, it appears this coincides with the induction blower switching from low to high speed, and from the service manual that suggests that the CPU is deciding to switch to high heat mode.

What's going on here? The last tech who was out couldn't reproduce the issue, but of course it happened again right after he left.
