Hi,
This is my first post and would like some advice on a new home I'm having built in ninety-six, South Carolina. I'm having the home spray foamed with open cell and because the HVAC is in the attics, there will be two air handlers, I will have unvented attics with the rafters spray foamed. I will also have an ERV installed and I also asked for a supply in case I needed to supply more conditioned air to prevent high humidity up there. My builder says I shouldn't have a problem with high humidity and I'm looking for some more opinions as to whether he's right. I was thinking about a vapor diffusion ridge vent I've read about or just a dehumidifier if should he be wrong.
Thanks for any advice.
