Hi HVAC Pros,
I need your advice/suggestions on two issues:
I am installing a new furnace. Mine is a two level house. I want to install a dual zone furnace and a dual zone AC. But I do not have funds and want to wait for a year or two. The contractor suggested I can install a 2 stage furnace now so that when I am ready to go ahead with dual zones later, I do not have to replace the furnace. Is that a possibility? The installed cost difference between a single stage and a two stage furnace is $400. I may go with Bryant 2 stage 3.5 tons, 80% efficient.
I am replacing a Carrier 376cav with a Bryant. Attaching the info of the non working furnace. What is the equivalent rating and model of a new Bryant single stage and two stage furnace?
Thanks in advance for your help.
