Please help me optimize my Honeywell T6 configuration for a Lennox 2-stage heat pump

Hello -

My house has a 3-ton Lennox two-stage heat-pump with a variable speed electric furnace/air-handler.

The thermostat is a Honeywell T6 Z-wave pro. For both heating and cooling, I have set each stage of the heat-pump to no more than 3 CPH.

During cooling, I would really like to configure the heatpump to run much longer in stage 1 because it will dehumidify much better. I used to have an ecobee3 thermostat and that would run mostly in stage 1 for long times with the same equipment (switching to stage 2 was based on temperature differential, and a high differential was set). With this setup, it worked great for dehumidification also. The average run length was ~30-35 minutes.

With the Honeywell T6, the thermostat always starts cooling in stage 2. And then after some time switches down to stage 1. So my run lengths are shorter (~20-25 minutes). Comfort is pretty good, but the humidity is higher than before.

I can't figure out good Honeywell settings. And could really use some expert advice from you all

THanks,
Danny!
