Hi, first post from Newbie and Dimbo.. This is probably a very basic question, but has flummoxed me.
I have installed a air-air heat pump as above. It is brand new and is running great.
I do not need it to cool my house as we live far in the north. I do need to use it to heat my house.
I would like to set it to around 10 degrees C (50F) or even lower when I am not in the house. I tend to leave the house for weeks at a time. The lowest setting I seem to get is 16 degrees C (60F). This is still too high bearing in mind the severe energy costs right now. I could even imagine setting it to as low as 5 degrees C (41F) for weeks at a time. I simply want to keep the house from freezing solid.. and getting very damp.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Many thanks
Thomas
