I have a Goodman gas powered furnace in my attic (Model number GM9S800603AUAA) which does not start well in the mornings.
In the mornings it takes approximately 15 minutes for the furnace to start. I can hear the inducer motor? spinning and then shutting off repeatedly and the error code "E1C" flashes on the circuit board. This will go on for awhile and then eventually the furnace will ignite and start. This only happens in the mornings (when the attic is cold).
In the evenings, the furnace will start after 3 minutes. I can see the same error code flash briefly but it will start in about 3 minutes.
Once the furnace starts, either in the mornings or evenings, it has no problem restarting again (after it's been shut off for 15 minutes).
What could be the issue?
Thank you
