Do gasketed spiral duct fittings work with snap lock pipe?

I am looking at doing some ventilation ducting and have one question I can't seem to get an answer to (even from the manufacturer).

I notice a lot of Fantech components use a gasketed connection more commonly used with spiral duct. Is there an issue using snaplock pipe with this style of connection?
