I would to know details about how the comfortbridge algorithm works (beyond what I have read in the marketing material). How should I set the thermostat setback in order for it to work properly. Currently I have a 2 degree C setback during the night but that leads to a long time (more than 1 hour) to get back to temp. The system starts at low (50%) and then eventually goes to 100%. Then the next cycle starts right at 100% and quickly gets to temp / overshooting. Then for rest of the day it runs at low speed. I would like guidance on how i should set the thermostat in order to see the furnace actually modulate and not act like a two stage. I have yet to see gas rate that is not 50% or 100%. My guess is that it needs a constant temperature in order to go through enough cycles to know what the optimal gas rate should be and that a set back temperature and recovery resets the algorithm. Any one have any insight?
