I currently have Amana AVCZ20 heat pump with dual fuel AMVM97 modulating gas furnace (both communicating). Comfortbridge has actually done a fantastic job controlling the heat pump output based on the house heating needs. A recent update to CoolCloud added an option to select an algorithm that looks at heating/cooling RATE instead of the target time algorithm. I haven't been able to find ANY information on this, just wondering if there are any pros out there know about this option, and whether it has a significant impact on the heat pump scaling.
One more question: I see that Daikon has released a communicating thermostat. Their website says it's for Daikon equipment, but wondering, if I tire of the ComfortBridge control scheme, if that's an option for my equipment. The contractor that installed the system was unfamiliar with the (fairly new) Daikon One thermostat.
Thanks for any help!
