I have a trane a/c unit here in Florida.
My heat pump keeps turning off randomly but not back on. The blower remains running. I only notice this is happening because I can't feel cold air coming out of the vents. Then I go outside and heat pump is completely off.
In order to get the heat pump to turn back on, I have to goto my breaker box and flip the breaker off and then back on.
Once the system resets it works as per normal. This is happening like once a day or every other day. It doesn't seem to be consistent.
Any ideas? Thanks!
