I just had a new Trane AC installed two days ago: 5 ton 16 Seer split system with Gas Furnace for single story home ~2100 Sqrt feet built in 2002.
Condenser: 4TTR6060J1000B
Furnace: S8X1C100M5PSC
coil: 4TXCC009DS3HC
Two days after installation to cool down the house, today I noticed the thermostat is set up for 75 F; however, the temperature shows on the thermostat panel can only reach to 78F inside in house the afternoon. AC not able to cool down further in side the house.
The house is in phoenix, Arizona, so the outside temperature is about ~110F today, with the highest temperature of 114F in the afternoon.
The AC technician come back measured the input temperature into the furnace is ~77F; output temperature after the coil is ~54 F. So ~23 F difference.
Inside the house, the temperature return to the air suction vent is: ~77F, the temperature from the one register is ~60F. So ~17 F difference
Not sure what is the problem including the following possibility:
(1) AC unit itself
(2) installation issues including setting for blower speed etc?
(3) or is it partially due to the hot temperature outside around 110F in phoenix?
(4) or duct problem? I and the technician checked and All ducts are connected with no found leaks.
Thank you all for inputs in advance!
