Condensate drain question

Hello,

Can one of you please advice me on which setup looks more correct, between what technician #1 is recommending vs #2 please?

This is what I currently have:

Primary -> leading into Rectorseal 83113 EZ trap which then drains into a condensate pump - Little Giant (Blue color)
Secondary/Auxillary -> was connected to SOS-1 but after having to call technician 3 times and each time the SOS-1 was found to be faulty he has replaced it with 3rd. generation Rectorseal SS2. He confirmed aux never saw water.

He is suggesting 2 things and I am getting a counter argument from a different technician

1 is suggesting installing something like this:

PRIMARY -> SC1 (for cleaning) -> SS1 (For switch) -> EZ Trap -> Condensate pump

2 is suggesting:

PRIMARY -> SS1 (For switch) -> EZ Trap -> Condensate pump.

When I told him about SC1 he said not required but if i want (Its dirt cheap) he can install one between SS1 and EZ Trap. He said ideally nothing but the switch should be between main drain outlet and EZ trap first.

All of this -> 3rd. generation RectorSeal. He also said this SOS-1 is the biggest piece of j$$k.

Note: Unit is in basement, not attic

Note: Unit being HE, there's another drain from AHU which is connected to a neutralizer and then into the same condensate drain pump. The AHU has an internal P-trap. This line is independent from the condensate drain line, As per both technicians this is fine since condensate drain line does not require a neutralizer
