Are more price increases and supply shortages in the future?

We have a Rheem AC installed in 2006, still works good but we’ve been told it’s getting close to time to replace it. It keeps our 1900 sq foot house cool but is noisy. Plus the fact that the refrigerant is quite expensive if you can get it. Is now the time to replace it, are there future shortages in the future, will prices be increasing? We are looking at Lennox AC’s to replace it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
