Hi, HVAC tech recently did yearly maintenance for me, and he suggested changing the configuration of my plenum. The supply plenum is doing a 90 degrees to a flex duct, which then connects to my main rectangular trunk (see first picture). He says I'd get better performance if it came out straight into my main trunk. Also, the return plenum is shorter than my air handler (second picture). Better performance if return plenum is the same size. What do you guys think? Is it worthwhile to make these updates? Thank you
