Hey guys new to the site but I already love it. I went out today to replace a bad txv. After recovering the refrigerant I replaced both the txv and filter drier. Pressure tested using nitrogen-no leaks. Triple evacuated system to 475 microns. Weighed factory charge in. Cycled system to find short cycling due to low pressure switch opening. Found txv restricted and not operating properly. Had extremely high superheat and normal subcool. I even used my thermal imager to verify restriction. 65 degree temperature difference across txv. This is a 5ton Florida heat pump. Any suggestions?
