What could cause this high pitched noise on new Daikin Heat Pump when in Heat mode?

We had a new 2 ton Daikin DZ16SA0241 heat pump installed May 2021. I live in a condo with a flat roof and the condenser sits on top of the roof right above the closet the air handler is located in. About a week ago it finally got cold enough here to turn the heat on and several minutes after turning it on I started to hear this terrible high pitched shrill sound coming from the area where the air handler is located.

This noise seems to start about 3 - 4 minutes after the condenser has been running. I also noticed that it seems like the longer the heat was running the faster and harder the compressor would pump. It does not make this noise or pump this fast/hard when in AC mode, it's only when it's in Heat mode. I've switched the thermostat over to Aux Heat in the meantime for fear of damaging the compressor or something. I will be calling the installers we used, but I wanted to get some opinions beforehand because we've had a lot of issues with them. Even though we got their name/number from Daikin's website where they're listed as "Daikin Pro Comfort" installers, they've turned out to be terrible. But that's a whole other story that I may make a thread about soon.

The best I can tell it sounds like the noise is coming from the air handler, but I know it's possible that it could be transferring down the lines from the condenser (there's only about 6ft of line set between the condenser and air handler.) Unfortunately, I don't have a ladder long enough to get on the roof to check out the condenser myself. I'm adding a link to an audio recording I made of the noise, although it doesn't really do it justice, it's much louder and more shrill in person. What could cause this noise to occur when in Heat mode, but not when in AC/Aux Heat/Fan modes? Thanks...
