gravel - grundfos circulation pump and webstone check valve

I had a new system installed, including a high efficiency boiler, side arm, pipes, etc.
It is only 3 months old but I am hearing a mild gravel sound from what appears to be in front of the circulator pump or the check value in front of that.
Note: these are in a horizontal position; in the picture water moves right to left.
The sound is enough to enter a quiet house at times and seems consistent when water is flowing. When I hold a screwdriver up to the parts in the order of water flow: check valve > circ. pump > another valve, the loudest is the check valve at front. I hear very little from the purge screw on the pump. I isolated the pump and took that screw out and very little water came out and it looks muddy -- which I think is from the prior house system and is likely iron. The system was flushed twice with a cleaner and is now running on water. Any purge of the water from various points seems to be clean water.
Does anyone know what this issue might be? I have video of system and sound, but I cant upload... but I did upload a picture
Thank you so much for the help in advance!
