Daikin Mini-split Air Conditioning Humidity Oddity

We had a Daikin Mini-split system installed here in the Portland, Oregon area this summer. Outside unit is 18K 2MXS18NMVJU serving two 9K FTXS09LVJU units. One unit is for a small 10x12 home office filled with electronics that heat up the room a lot as the door is always shut even in winter when the AC is still needed.

The humidity oddity is that randomly every two or three weeks, summer or winter, the air conditioning will suddenly start pushing out very, very humid air for 10 or 15 minutes and then revert to normal operation. This air is reminiscent of swamp cooler operation. It pegs the humidistat at 70% in a matter of minutes. Normally, room humidity to 50% or less, but it takes hours to recover. No similar problem in the other room with summer AC. The local Daikin mini-split installer experts are puzzled after double checking installation, proper drainage, etc. There is almost always water in the drain pan and when questioned about this, the answer was that the Daikin pan design does not allow for complete drainage of it.

So, two questions that maybe related. Has anyone had a similar experience regarding very humid air out put? Is the design information correct?

Thanks,
