We currently have a two zone Aquatherm system serviced by two propane water heaters. This is combined with two heat pumps which heat the house until temps hit 40 at which time the gas takes over. We have an ongoing problem that, whenever temps get below 30, for example, one of the thermostats on a heater pops and only one water heater remains lit. It cannot keep the water hot enough to warm the house as well as water supply. I am constantly going and resetting the pilot light. Our HVAC contractor said it was a faulty thermostat (UNDER WARRANTY) and replaced it three days ago. Since it has tripped TEN TIMES. I am asking if anyone has experienced this and options followed to fix.
