Hi,
I'm having a heat pump installed next week and I want to wire my actual thermostat accordingly.
There was no heat pump before and the actual system is electric only.
My thermostat is a White-Rodgers 1F85-0471
My air handler is a UPG unit AHP30B3XH21A
My Heat pump is a Goodman GSZ140241LA (single stage)
So how should my thermostat be wired in order to use the heat pump as the primary (only) cold source and primary heat source with the electric system as a backup when outside temperature gets below heat pump capability ?
If someone could tell me what goes where please !
