Charts say that, for example, 6" flex duct is good for 75 CFM. But that is only a flow rate of 382 FPM, not adequate for good air throw. So which is it, live with low air flow, or push more air through the duct than it's rated for, and pay for it with high friction loss? Am I missing something?
