Deciding between a TRANE XC95M and a TRANE S9V2 furnace. I’m told the S9V2 is the latest technology for TRANE and it’s a two stage furnace. The currently available XC95M is a modulating gas furnace so potentially slightly more efficient. The new XC95M is scheduled to be available is 90 days but we’re new construction so can’t wait for that. We have in a 3400sq ft, 6bd, 3ba ranch home. I’m thinking of going with the S9V2 having the latest TRANE has to offer and the new updated XC95M not being available yet.
