Furnace banging mid-run (not at start or end), techs stumped

I have a Carrier 58CTX135 mounted in a downflow configuration running on natural gas. Occasionally, we hear a loud "bang" sound when the furnace has already been operating for some time (not at initial start). Listening closely, there's a little chatter and then the big bang. This can happen multiple times in a cycle, sometimes a couple times in a row. There are no other accessories (dampers, zone controls, etc.) attached.

What's going on here, and what's the right fix? The last tech who was out couldn't reproduce the issue, but of course it happened again right after he left. And two other techs we've called have said they have no idea how a furnace could do this and refused to even look at it for a repair, will only replace the whole unit.

A full run from startup to the two of the bangs which do sometimes happen in a row like this is at youtu.be/OLuIXhJfTxg - skip to about 1:48 in
