Air Quality Advice

Hello everyone,

My wife and I built a 2200 sqft bungalow out in the country and moved in about a year ago. I find that my allergies inside the home are out of control and am exploring the possibilities around air quality and how to improve it. This is mainly from the perspective of allergies but also better air quality in general.

We currently have the following setup:

Furnace: Armstrong A96UH2E070B12S-01
Coil: Armstrong EAC1P-36B-50
Condenser: Armstrong 4SCU13LB136P-3
HRV: Lifebreath RNC-155
Media: 4" pleated filter

My biggest wants are less dust and less allergy causing particles
My biggest concerns are pressure drop and ozone creation

I would like to avoid having to replace filters purely from the perspective of cost and I am more than happy to wash filters on a regular basis - at most perhaps monthly.

I have read about the Carrier Infinity, Trane Clean Effects, Aprilaire 5000 and Honeywell F300. Between these, I am leaning toward to the Honeywell F300 for overall alignment with the above wants/needs.

I would love input from the group around whether or not these products are what I should be looking at, people's experiences with them and just general guidance or experience with this type of issue.

Very much appreciate anyone who spends the time to assist.

Thank you,
