Hello, I have a Lennox SL280UHV two stage gas furnace that was installed about two years ago. To control this I have a Honeywell TH8320R1003 thermostat connected to a Honeywell Equipment Interface Module.
I have noticed since the install that the furnace seems to only go to a single stage. I suspect that it is the second, higher, stage since it seems to always push air out full blast but I'm not 100% sure. I just know that it has only ever had a single heating "speed".
I have two questions:
1. Is there any way to confirm which stage the furnace is in at any one time?
2. The thermostat only has two wires going to the Equipment Interface Model. They are connected to C and Rc. There is also a jumper between Rc to R. Is this the correct number and connections of wires? It was a little unclear if another wire is needed to make two stage happen.
