Existing system is:
Fan coil: FE4ANF002
Heat pump: 25HNA624 HP
Installed 2007 with completely re-engineered ductwork & grille locations.
Blower motor replaced 2018
Blower motor replaced under warranty 2019
Evaporator coil sprung a leak 2020.
Coil definitely leaking 2021.
Other than refrigerant gurgling at the AH on low loads, it's been a nice system. Dead-silent otherwise, which is good since it sits right outside the master bedroom door.
That FE4ANF002 fan coil unit fits perfectly in the closet it was shoehorned into, so I can't really go with anything physically larger.
Anyone have any thoughts on repairing the coil vs. replacing the system?
