refrigerant leaks

New here and hoping you can give me some advice. In the past 18 months my new $9000 American Standard has blown all of the R-410A out of the evaporator coil 3 times. Each time it makes me quite sick. Have read that the expensive energy-efficient units blow coils often. So my question: If I replace this energy efficient unit with a bottom of the line unit, will that give me an evaporator coil that’s not so thin and under so much pressure? Really need a central AC that I can trust to not continuously poison me with refrigerant.
