I hope this the right section to post this
Hello, I have an Aprilaire 800 installed at 240v on my furnace and it is leaking from the from the ducts in my finished basement. I was told that my ducts are not sealed properly.
My current configuration is the steam hose is installed on the supply plenum and about 4 inches from the hose there is a 90 degree out. I wanted to know if either of the 2 options would keep the steam in a gaseous state:
-Lower the location of the unit and the steam hose in order to keep the steam gaseous
-Move the unit to the return side of the furnace.
Im attaching some pics.
Thanks for your help
