Hi all,
I live in on the top floor of a 3 story apartment building and have about 4-5 condenser units above my apartment. I hear vibrations and humming (which I believe may be from the fans rotating) about every 15-20 minutes throughout the day and night. Sometimes, these noises last 5 minutes or can last as long as 20 minutes. The building management have put down vibration pads under the 4 corners of the units however, this hasn't helped to lessen the noise. The noises keep me up at night and when I do eventually fall asleep, I'm woken up a few hours later. It's driving me crazy (!!) and I really need some advice on what can be done to make this a little more bearable until my lease is up in a few months. Are pads enough for isolating vibration/humming? Do I need stronger material?
I've attached a picture of what the units look like. I have links for the noises I hear - but I'm not allowed to post them until I reach 7 posts. I can send them elsewhere for those interested
Thank you
