Can the high/low output limits of a modulating furnace be adjusted?
In my two year old Montana home, I have a really clean HVAC install with a Coleman CP9C furnace. The two farthest bedrooms from the furnace are always much cooler in the winter under normal low modulation furnace operations. There is very little air coming out of the supply ducts in those two rooms. I have noticed however, on the rare occasions when the furnace goes into the mid-high output ranges, the bedrooms equal out to the rest of the house really well and receive plenty of air from the supply ducts.
So, can those lower limits be adjusted up a bit to where the furnace doesn't operate at those really low outputs where it tends to run? Is there anything else that comes to mind that might help my problem?
Thanks,
Mike
