Dear Pro Techs, If you were getting a new system, what tweaks would you ask for?

I'm on a service maintenance contract with the original HVAC company that did my install on new construction, 14 years ago in 2007. They come out twice a year and while the tech was inspecting the coil unit for R22 leaks, he pushed on a capillary tube and broke it, disharging the system. Long story short, I'm about to get a new system (air handler/coil, compressor). I think the original SEER was 13 and the tonnage is 3 (Carrier PN: 25HBR336A320). I will most likely be getting a Carrier Replacement.

1) Any recommendation on replacement PN? I'm 99% sure it will need to be a Carrier I've been pretty happy with what I have - it seems to be sized perfectly for an upstairs unit and has been fairly trouble-free. Cycles are long which IIR, is a good thing. Looking for best bang for the buck and/or stay away from the lemons.

2) I had to unclog the drainline from the catch pan a year or so back and REALLY wished the original install had a quick adapt to a hose or something. I think I'm going to ask to have one installed.

3) Obvious changes will be R22 to R134a and from copper coils to Aluminum. I was really disappointed to learn coils are going low heat transfer Aluminum.

Is there anything I need to be sure I ask them to do as opposed to a standard install (other than what I mention in 2)??
