Hopefully an easy question...
I have a Lennox EL296 2-Stage furnace with a Sensi single-stage T-Stat. I've set the DIP Switches to automatically go into second stage in 7 minutes (SW 1 - On, SW 2 - Off) , but the display always shows H 1 (Single stage heat) even after running for an extended period of time.
Any advice? I had an expert tell me just to jumper W1 to W2 at the control board, but wouldn't that just make the furnace run in always run in second stage?
