Is the transformer the problem?

I had an American Standard Accuclean AFD210ALFR000CD installed with a Lennox CBX32MV-048-230-6-06 air handler in 2010 (new build). I clean all components of the Accuclean every two weeks. The fan runs 18 hours a day (thermostat setting). In Sept. 2020, during cooling season (in AZ), the Accuclean threw a three red bar error two days after a cleaning. I recleaned the power door contacts and the unit ran fine for a week, then repeated the same error. Power cycling made no difference. The original installer was out for 2 hours to troubleshoot; he said voltage was within spec and offered no solution. After he left, I shut off the air handler circuit breaker for 24 hours. When I powered it on again, the Accuclean worked fine. The installer emailed me that he consulted with Lennox. He could replace the transformer; if that did not stop the faults, he could replace the Accuclean power door. He did not diagnose what was wrong. I told him it was now working; the system ran 4 months without a problem. Last week the Accuclean threw the three red bar error again. The only "solution" is to turn off the air handler for 24 hours. Then when I power the system up, it runs fine. My question is: should I replace the transformer? I don't want to have these unplanned failures during cooling season. p.s. I have hydronic radiant heat so air handler fan runs in winter just for the Accuclean.
