Hi, I have (1) Evolution Connex thermostat in my house. It controls the Bryant heat pump / furnace in my attic and the compressor / condenser unit outside. I also have central radiant floor heat driven by an electric boiler (thanks to my solar system) - but the 2 heating systems are not tied together in any way. I set the Bryant system thermostat to 68 degrees in the AUTO or HEAT mode. I see that the radiant system is keeping the house around 70 degrees, so usually there is no need for the Bryant system to kick in. For some reason the Bryant air circulation fan runs continuously, even though the thermostat is not calling for heat and I don't have the fan set to ON.
If I turn the Bryant system OFF, the fan runs for a minute or so and stops.
I've checked all the "schedules" you can program into the Evolution Connex thermostat, but I am using the HOLD feature of the thermostat, so I'm not running a schedule.
I have Bryant Rep Daniels HVAC out of Albuquerque scheduled for Thursday 2/4 to evaluate the sytem, but thought I would post here to see if anyone had any ideas as to why the fan runs continuously?
Thanks,
Mike
