Background summary, house is 2 years old, issues with mini split (upstairs bonus room) and eventually they just replaced the whole thing with a different model/make....
I can not for the life of me control the humidity with this new unit.... The old unit took a while to figure out but it had a mode where it removes humidity and cools as well... I'd usually set this temp to 80 and it would end up being about 70 or so which was prefect..... This new unit also has this mode except you can't set the temp. So while it removes the hundity as needed it also makes it in the lower 60's so it's unbearable for me.... And when I try use the AC part instead to get a comfortable temp, the hundity shoots up to unacceptable levels....
Not trying to be a pain to the company that put it in so I'm curious if this is just how it is and something I'll have to live with? I've spoken with them a good bit in the past 2 yrs because of the other unit I can only imagine they roll their eyes when they hear it's me calling. haha
Any advice on what to do here? Anything I can check before calling them?
New unit is a Mitsubishi MSZ-WR09NA Old unit was a Daikin FTXB09A
