If heat load requirement is 36,000 btu's and a possible new 2 stage furnace is 60,000 input and 57,000 (95%), the first stage output is about 34,200 (60% times 57k).
On cold days near design temperature, what is the percentage "ballpark" time the furnace will run in stage one before switching to stage two ?
Is a one stage or two stage furnace best suited for the above example since a 40,000 btu (input) furnace has no reserve for really cold days ?
Will a night time setback of 5 degrees influence which furnace to go with ?
