Hi, I would like to upgrade my old Simple Comfort 3000 thermostat to a WIFI smart one (honeywell smart), but am confused with the current heating only furnace in the Williams 3003621 wiring setup to the thermostat.
I can see that there are 4 wires coming from the wall (black yellow red and green). But the black and the yellow wires are connected together and red and green are connected together in the Williams heater. But the same wires going to the Simple Comfort 3000 thermostat showing the red and green wires connecting together to RH, and the yellow and black connecting together in W.
can anyone please help and advice how to go about this? can I separate the wires to plug them in different terminal in order to use a WIFI smart thermostat? And without a C wire is that possible? Although I do have an adapter from Honeywell but not sure how to wire it.
See pix and thank you all in advance,
