Greetings
I picked up a 600 model and need some input. I went over the instructions and it seems pretty straight forward, however wanted to make sure I have the wiring correct. First I want the humidifier to come on when the blower fan is on, I don't want it only to come on when it calls for heat. I want be using the automatic setting, I'm sticking to the manual option for now.
The wiring from the furnace board to the controller looks simple, however I watched some videos about the transformer where they connected it to the furnace board to the EAC terminal. I was planning on installing it on the furnace switch that provides 120v as they indicated in the manual. Here is the diagram that I outlined that.
Next question is the location of the humidifier, as you can see the coils go all the way up so putting it on the blower side may not be possible, I assume no issue putting it on the return side? Please see image.
For the 24v low voltage wiring, what is the recommending wiring gauge do I need.
Thanks
